IRMA would like to extend a very special "Thank You!" to those companies who have been observing the Wish List! page and doing their best to get these long-desired kits into production. Of the 100 listed by members and visitors 21 are currently in production with 11 more added to planned production lists.
A special thanks goes to Renaud Mangallon of Sharkit for making our first and second IRMA kits possible, the Gloster CXP-1001, and Shenyang JJ-1,

Keep our hobby going and growing!©SM
Our first IRMA kit is out! It is on the New Releases page and we will have a write up of it later this month.
We had proposed to do this kit, the Gloster CXP-1001, with another firm, however, due to financial difficulties this proved beyond our means. So Sharkit stepped up to help us out!

The Memberships page is now up and running! New members have been given a membership number. This number is for your use only. Search services, referrals and publication of any photos or articles are now for paid members only. Your memberships help to maintain this site and will also finance new kits and decals exclusive to membership. These are from the Wish List page.
Participating manufacturers and sellers will be giving discounts to members. The member will give the manufacturer the number and we will verify on our list and you get the discount! Not all manufacturers are participating but hopefully more will join as we progress. Members will also be able to purchase exclusive kits based on the Wish List page. The first of these will be never-before-produced aircraft and later we will expand into other areas. Membership funding will help in financing initial production runs for IRMA exclusive kits. In other words, ONLY IRMA members will have the kits we produce!
Do let us know if you are in need of a rare or hard-to-find set of decals.
This is the MPM Ltd. Models McDonnell FH-1 Phantom in 1/72. This is the original resin and plastic version with vacuform canopy and metal details. The Phantom was the first combat jet for the U.S. Navy flying in 1945. It was a simple, yet effective design which held the fort until later arrivals.

Here is the Alliance Models 1/72 Chance Vought F6U Pirate in resin and plastic with metal details. A great kit of this interesting aircraft. The Pirate was one of several war-time designs produced after the conflict. Only produced in small numbers, it served to help understand new designs for jet development.

The MXY7 Ohka 櫻花 "Cherry Blossom" Type 22 was a jet version of the original MXY7 Type 11 Attack (suicide) aircraft. This A+V Models is a very nice resin kit with metal details for this unusual jet. It was felt a jet version might have more success than the rocket-powered one.

Left and below are pictures of the new IRMA kit for the Gloster CXP-1001 Nationalist Chinese fighter of 1946.
Decals are for a Gloster prototype and Chinese fighter versions.
This will hopefully be the 1st of many, many more from IRMA!

The Victoria Products Mikoyan-Gureyvich I-270 is an all resin kit in 1/72. Very fine detail and easily assembled. The I-270 was a war-time design that was later influenced by German technology, mainly the Messerschmitt-Junkers Me-263.

Model by Zane R Nobbs
The Blohm und Voss P.211.02 was a Volksjager designed late in the war. It progressed as far as manufacturing component parts before the conflict was over. This kit was originally produced by Czech Master Resin Kits (CMK) and Airmodel Products in a 1/72 resin format and is now available from MPM Ltd. Models in a plastic, resin, photo-etched details version.
